Shipping Policy

• Ecotone pays for 50% of shipping to retail outlets.
• Ecotone pays for shipping to University bookstores.
• Individuals and organizations must pay for their own shipping.
• Sales to individuals or organizations should be shipped via UPS, United States Postal Service or Canada Post and should arrive no later than 7-10 business days.
• Individuals or organizations can request 2 day or over night delivery if they pre-pay with Fed Ex.

Sales Tax

• Ecotone charges Sales tax based on where the order originated.
• Tax is calculated on the discounted price.

Accounts Receivable

• All payments are to be remitted in USD.
• Ecotone prefers payments via company checks, however arrangements can be made for payment by credit card - M/C & VISA.
• Checks are to be made payable to Ecotone LLC or Ecotone Publishing.
• Invoices are due within 30 days of the dated invoice.
• Invoices over 60 days are considered late and no further sales to that entity will be made until the late payment is received.
• Invoices over 90 days are considered delinquent and the company will be notified in writing that they have another 30 days to make payment or a collection agency will be notified. 

Returns Policy

• Ecotone does not accept returns from university bookstores, independent bookstores, online bookstores, retail outlets or from individual sales.
• Ecotone does accept returns for books damaged during shipping. Ecotone pays for 50% of shipping.

Miscellaneous Ecotone Policy

• All sales overseas (except Canada) must be pre-paid and payment must clear before books are shipped.
• All bookstores must have proof of their existence prior to books being shipped out. 
• Orders larger than ten copies made by independent bookstores must have a prior history with Ecotone, or be prepaid.
